USMC Officer's Full Dress Frockcoat: As described in the 1859 USMC Regulations, all officers (except the commandant) for Full Dress were to wear a double breasted dark blue frockcoat with 8 large Marine buttons in a row, equally spaced, and with a full black cotton lining and natural cotton sleeve lining. Our coat is made using our Deluxe dark blue 16 oz wool as standard, our 19oz field service wool can be substituted for a reduced cost.
