USMC Undress Officer's Frockcoat. For Undress, all Marine officers (except the commandant) were to wear a double breasted dark blue frockcoat with 8 large Marine buttons in a row, equally spaced, and having a full black cotton lining and natural cotton sleeve lining. Sleeves have three button functioning cuffs. Our coat is made using the 19 oz dark blue wool with a deluxe officer's wool available at extra cost. There are pockets in the folds of the skirts (no flaps) with 4 large Marine buttons on the back of the coat.
